“We found this magical place out of pure luck the night before our stay began, even though we came into a storm, this place still blew our minds away and not even the bad weather could have ruined the most romantic and beautiful place we have ever been. The hosts received us with a friendly welcome, showed us around and it just got better, the place has absolutely everything you need and more. The way it has been built and decorated, every detail is exquisite, the bed is like a cloud, the shower like a rainfall and the views are breathtaking!

“Mark and Teresa are the kindest, most thoughtful and considerate hosts of all the places we’ve stayed with Airbnb. The Shepherds Hut is a gem, so beautifully built by Mark, and finished to the highest standard, as is the stunning annex containing kitchen and luxury bathroom with powerful shower. Mark and Teresa have thought of absolutely everything for the benefit of guests. The bed is extremely comfortable, the kitchen is well equipped with top quality accessories and welcome goodies are generously provided. There’s a lovely private garden with sun loungers and portable BBQ and the views from the garden are amazing. We only stayed two nights but feel completely refreshed by our stay in such a peaceful and stunning place. We will definitely return asap!”

“Had a lovely stay in this charming shepherd's hut set in the beautiful countryside. The hut was spotless, thoughtfully furnished and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay.
The bed was very comfy and the views were spectacular. Mark and Teresa were fantastic, they personally greeted me on arrival and were incredibly welcoming, friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend.”

“My partner and I spent 4 days at Mark's and Theresa's place. We were there to attend a course at the Old Forge and their place is perfectly located for it. On top of that, their accommodation was lovely, even better than in pictures and descriptions. And them and their cat were so nice to us. They have plenty of recommendations and tips if you need to explore the area. They are surrounded by beautiful nature and some very nice villages and pubs. We had a wonderful here, we hope to return one day.”

“An incredibly relaxing and comfortable weekend stay, whilst we forged pointy things at The Oldfield Forge, highlighted by Mark and Teresa's superb hospitality. The hut and kitchen/bathroom building feature the best facilities with an outstanding attention to detail that serve to show the huge amount of love and thought built into everh nook and cranny. Great views and walks in the amazing natural surroundings too. Thank you both for making our 25th wedding anniversary that extra bit more special. Will definitely stay here again.”

“Where to begin...Cleanliness is very important to me. The cultery draw was spotless and even kitchen sponge was brand new- Mark and Teresa looked after every bit! The bed is very spacious and so comfortable - we slept like babies every night. We enjoyed the pristine and beautful gardens with its views and painted together. Teresa and Mark are so kind and responsive - even giving us a bumch of goodies for our stay including my fav chocolates! They've thought about every detail to make the stay as comfortable and as enjoyable as possible. AND the kitchen has everything you need! AND the shower is great 🥳 I can keep going!!!”
